Eddie Sanders

Eddie Sanders is currently the principal bassoonist with the United States Air Force Band.  In addition, he performs regularly in the Washington, DC area and frequently gives master classes throughout the continental United States and Puerto Rico. He has been featured as a bassoon and contrabassoon soloist on several national tours. 

 

Mr. Sanders received a Bachelor of Music in Bassoon Performance from Towson University.  During his undergraduate studies, he was the winner of the Yamaha Soloist Competition.  He also won first place in the Sydney Liberman Music Competition, second place in the Peggy Gordon Competition and was a finalist in the National Symphony Concerto Competition. His teachers include Lewis Lipnick, Gene Griswold, and Linda Harwell.
