Reis McCullough


Since joining the Army Field Band in 2001, Sergeant Major Reis McCullough has served in a variety of roles including Principal Clarinetist and Concertmaster, and Woodwind Group Leader.  His performances with this group and other ensembles have taken him around the world including Japan, Taiwan, Germany, and Norway.  SGM McCullough is an active recitalist in the Washington, D.C. area and was a featured soloist on the Vandoren gala concert at the International Clarinet Association conference in Baton Rouge in 2014.  He has also performed with the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra, Ars Nova, Avanti Orchestra, Slee Symphonietta, Binghamton Philharmonic, Federal Way Philharmonic, Heidelberg Opera Orchestra, and Chautauqua Festival Orchestra. 


SGM McCullough earned a Master of Music degree from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Music degree and Performer’s Certificate from the Eastman School of Music.  His principal teachers include William Blayney, Kenneth Grant, Robert DiLutis, and Fred Ormand.
